August was quite a busy month!! I had my birthday..which means I am slowly, but surely, getting older. No one born in the 1990s is safe at this point ( ꩜ ᯅ ꩜;) I want to embrace getting older but it can feel rather intimidating when society is based on high expectations of what an adult should look like. What does an adult look like, anyways?

I often think about this when I take pictures of the toys cluttering my living room shelves. Does loving trinkets, toys, knick knacks seem weird for my age? I'd like to think it doesn't! ✧˚ ⋆｡˚

I acquired this Parappa clock from Mercari Japan at the beginning of the month. ヾ( ˃ᴗ˂ )◞ • *✰ He has a small scratch on his face so it made him significantly cheaper and not price gauged like on english websites like Ebay. So I ended up redoing my entire collection shelves to make a special place for him!! I hope to get the Lammy clock as well at some point.

While some may find it insignificant, my collection of trinkets really reminds me of how grateful I am to experience these pieces of childhood which carried me into adulthood. I want to fill my space with memories of video games, plush, toys that remind me of good feelings and joy. ☆⌒（＊＾∇゜）v
